L (Death Note)

He's not a prettyboy like Light, But L is quick to draw us in with his mysterious, genius-detective persona. The strange way he sits, his constant junk food munching and his fondness for stacking things all add to L's intriguing quirkiness. In his white shirt and jeans, it's obvious he doesn't care what he's wearing. But then again, who does?

Yomiko Readman (Read or Die)

Read or Die's Yomiko is turning more than pages. Though she's fully clothed and even refuses to take off her glasses, her bibliomania and unkempt hair are more than enough to keep our nerdy attention. What could be more attractive than a heroine who takes on dangerous missions to save books for the British Library?

Ghost in the Shell live-action

So as of this year DreamWorks acquired the rights to make a live-action film of ghost in the shell manga. Steven Spielberg is tipping the scales in DreamWorks favor for the film. Hopefuly It will be good a good movie. But to me if it isnt anime it wont be as good as the original movie. Anime is Art! with the animation, the story and voice actors it becomes a masterpeice! A live-action on the other hand when theres already an anime version out might not be as good.

What do you guys think? How will it turn out?

Purple Magic Orchestra

He walks into the room so quietly. The door shuts, he tries to open it but he can’t. He looks around the room. It’s a purple room with a lot of chairs and orchestra music is playing. A man says “who are you”? He replies “Kenichi Ito is my name and you”? The man answers “My name, well I don’t really have a name”. The music starts to get louder. Kenichi wishes he had his guitar. He sees a closet and opens the door, a guitar. He takes it out and starts to play along with the orchestra music. DA walks in and sees Kenichi with his guitar rocking out. DA takes out his keytar and starts to play with him. The man who had no name was actually Michihiro Kuroda with a mask. He starts to sing. The walls in the room start to fall down. They are all on a stage performing. The crowd cheers ICEMAN! ICEMAN! ICEMAN!

Major Motoko Kusanagi is my most favorite Gits character. As you know, she is very sexy and smart, lol. I love her english dubbed voice by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn in Stand Alone Complex and Mimi woods in Ghost in the Shell movie. She is also dubbed by Allison Matthews in Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. - The Laughing Man.

The Major is a female cybernetic squad leader. She is a highly skilled melee fighter and one of the world's most skilled hackers and net divers. She is also the tactical leader of Section 9.

Why is it so hard to find a Ghost in the Shell fan site or blog? I have searched on google but I have not found anything that is really good, so I made this Blog. More people should make Gits sites, oh well. Someday this will happen hopefuly.

Hi, this is the new OAV of the laughing man.

Plot Summary: In 2024, the terrorist incident known as "The Laughing Man Incident" occurred in which Ernest Serano, president of the groundbreaking micromachine company, Sereno Genomics, was kidnapped and ransomed. One day, the case having remained unsolved for six years, Detective Yamaguchi, who has been investigating "The Laughing Man Incident," sends word that he wants to meet with Togusa from Public Safety Section 9. However, soon after sending this message, Yamaguchi, crucial to the success of the case, dies in an accident. Many days pass and in the midst of a police interview relay concerning suspicions behind interceptors, a forewarning is received from "The Laughing Man" of his next crime. The incorporeal hacker begins to move once again.

Shortly after the release of the OVA, many fans of the series listed their surprise at the decision by Bandai and Manga Entertainment to redub the english language version with an entire different cast of actors. The new voice over work was undertaken by the Ocean Group of Vancouver, British Columbia. I dont like this choice, it messes up everything, I love the original dub.
